After it's racing career, the MG was restored and re registered in 1972.
It was again subjected to another total complete restoration in the late 1990's, early 2000's, which included rebuilding the 1250 cc Xpag engine (original engine, not the racing one), gearbox, diff and suspension. New paint, new leather and new all weather equipment. Since it's restoration it has travelled about 19,500 miles which has given it a used, yet very tidy patina.
